When parents order one
Asking for their share
Many support orders set a clock. In California, for example, the parent who paid a child's uninsured health costs sends an itemized statement within 30 days, and the other parent has 30 days to pay (Family Code §4063). Texas orders use similar 30-day windows.
Before mediation
A mediator's hour goes further when the numbers are already on one page — what was spent, by whom, and what each of you owes under the split you agreed.
Before you meet your attorney
Family law attorneys bill about $344 an hour on average (Clio, 2025). Hand them an organized statement instead of a folder of receipts to sort through.

Questions
What do I send you?
Anything you have: photos of receipts, PDFs, bank or card screenshots, insurance explanations of benefits, or your own spreadsheet. Email them to statements@coparentsplit.com after you order, with the split from your order or agreement (for example 50/50, or 60/40) and the period you need.
How long does it take?
Two business days from the moment we have your receipts. If you have a date — a mediation, a meeting — tell us at checkout and we plan around it.
Is this legal advice?
No. We organize the records you give us and apply the percentages you tell us. We don't decide what is reimbursable, calculate support, or prepare or file court documents. Review the statement before you send it to anyone, and ask your attorney how to use it.
What if some receipts are missing?
We list the expense anyway and mark the receipt as missing, so you can see at a glance what to request from a provider or your bank.
How is my information protected?
Your receipts are used only to prepare your statement and are deleted 30 days after delivery, unless you choose to keep them in your CoParentSplit account. Our privacy policy lists every service we use.
What if it isn't useful?
Reply to the delivery email within 14 days and we refund the full $49. No forms, no argument.
Do you work outside the US?
Yes — Canada too (section 7 and special expenses). The statement works with any split you give us.
